Position Description
ACE English Malta is seeking a dynamic, energetic, and highly organised Leisure Manager to lead our leisure team and coordinate engaging, exciting, and educational activity programmes for our international ELT students.
In this role, you’ll join a youthful, vibrant, and multicultural environment, playing a key role in delivering memorable experiences for our students while ensuring leisure activities consistently meet or exceed sales targets.
Applicants must have previous experience in the language travel market. Preference will be given to candidates who have working proficiency in Italian or Portuguese.
Requirements
- Proven experience managing leisure activities, ideally in language travel or similar environments
- Strong leadership and team management capabilities
- Excellent organisational and planning skills
- Effective communication and negotiation skills
- Ability to analyse sales data and generate reports
- Proficiency in Google Workspace, MS Office, and standard administrative software
- Fluent English; proficiency in Italian or Portuguese will be considered an advantage

Responsibilities
- Plan, coordinate, and manage leisure and social programmes for ELT students
- Lead, supervise, and develop the leisure team, including seasonal interns
- Oversee daily activity operations, logistics, and scheduling
- Negotiate and manage relationships with external suppliers and partners
- Track, analyse, and report leisure activity sales performance
- Proactively collaborate with sales and customer service teams to enhance student satisfaction and retention
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and regulatory guidelines
- Manage budgeting, cost control, and financial reporting for leisure activities
- Regularly gather student feedback and implement improvements
